January & February 2012

Elder & Sister Krueger join us after Christmas for a trip to the Colosseum

The Collosseum at dusk in late December

Saint Peter's Square with a life size nativity scene and beautiful Christmas tree after Christmas

Looking back into Saint Peter's square through the beautiful colonnade that surrounds the square

An authentic Italian dinner at the Guidara family home with several of our temple and missionary couple friends

These wonderful Italian saints show their love for the foreign couples who are here to serve.  We love and admire them for their love of the gospel.

6 inches of snow in Rome has not been seen here for 32 years.  Not much snow by Colorado standards but truly amazing to see Italians play and drive in the snow

Sister Valentine's "Valentine" lunch for the office missionaries & President & Sister Kelly

Some of our amazing missionaries waiting in the office for Zone Conference to begin.  Their energy and enthusiasm are contagious.

The Assistants bring us some Cannolies from Bari.  This area is famous for the best Cannolies in all of Italy.

Elder & Sister Fenn visit the Bracciniano Castle with us.  They serve as temple construction missionaries for the Rome Temple.

Bracciano Castle is a 600 year old fortress built high above the shoreline of Lake Bracciano only an hour drive north of Rome.
